The Prayon Group, which has been present in the Liège region for over 140 years, is demonstrating its role as a local economic driver with international reach.
By acquiring the building, which is located five minutes from its Engis site, Prayon aspires to breathe new life into the building and to reduce its environmental footprint.
The move is scheduled to take place in 2024, as the Flémalle building, which will regroup the majority of the group’s administrative activities, will need to be refurbished (air conditioning, IT, etc.). It will provide current and future employees with better working conditions and functionalities, including a larger number of meeting rooms and a cafeteria, in response to the needs expressed in a participatory survey conducted with staff.
All of Prayon’s production activities at its main site in Engis will be maintained.
According to Frédéric Driessens, CEO of Noshaq Immo: “This acquisition is in line with Noshaq Immo’s ambitions to upgrade an existing building to benefit the economic and industrial development of the Liège region”.
“This decision reflects the ambition of Prayon, an international player in phosphorus chemistry with strong local roots, to continue to develop over the long term,” concludes Geoffrey Close, CEO of Prayon.
