Renewal of the Solar Impulse label for Capterall®, an innovative technology to remove pollutants from wastewater

The Solar Impulse foundation has renewed its ‘Efficient Solution’ label for Capterall®,an innovative technology that uses a phosphate-based solution to remove a wide range of micropollutants, including heavy metals, from industrial wastewater. This technology provides industrial companies with a new tool to improve their environmental impact and comply with increasingly stringent environmental regulations.

The phosphorus “sludge” acts as a sponge. It captures the micropollutants present in industrial water demonstrating its key role in protecting the environment and helping customers improve their water quality.” says Alain Germeau, VP Development Projects, Prayon. “Over the months, we have optimized the process with our experts.The equipment are now in place in our Engis site. A demonstration truck is also available to test the solution in customers’ environments. The industrial production has started and will be fully completed by the end of 2023. Exciting times !” concludes Alain.  “

In addition, Prayon also plans to provide installation plans for customers’ premises, which will be integrated into existing or dedicated treatment units. As each case is unique, Prayon will provide specific and personalized support showcasing how our technology can make a clear difference.
