Prayon developed an efficient process enabling removal of the sulfates to a very low level from the weak or the concentrated acid by adding a source of calcium.

In some cases, the removal of sulfates is mandatory as it ensures the production of top-quality final products for technical or food applications.

Based on our experience as a producer, the desulfation process has been optimized through the years and installed in several factories around the world.
